BNSF Recognizes CF for Safe Rail Transport for 17th Straight Year

BNSF Railway has awarded CF its Annual Product Stewardship Award for the safe transport of hazardous materials by rail. It is the 17^th year in a row that CF has received the award.

BNSF gives its Annual Product Stewardship Award for the safe preparation, loading and shipping of Hazardous Materials (HM) by rail. The award is given by the BNSF to Hazardous Material Shippers who have offered more than 500 carloads of HM’s and achieved zero non-accident releases (NAR) during the preceding calendar year. 

CF transports nitrogen products on BNSF Railway out of its Verdigris and Woodward nitrogen complexes, which are located in Oklahoma. CF ships millions of tons of nitrogen products by rail each year.
